This guide walks you through setting up SCIM 2.0 provisioning for your organization in Okta, assuming SAML is already configured.

1. Overview

SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) allows Okta to provision and deprovision users automatically in your account. This enables seamless user management by syncing user attributes and managing lifecycle events.

2. Prerequisites

• Your organization must have SAML SSO already configured in Okta.
• Admin access to your Okta tenant.
• Admin access to the ShareCal Admin Portal

3. Contact ShareCal IT to Initiate Setup

1. Email [email protected] and request SCIM to be initiated for your account
2. Confirm that you can access SCIM URL and SCIM Secret Token via the **ShareCal Admin Portal** by selecting SCIM in the left sidebar

4. Obtain SCIM credentials from ShareCal Admin Portal

1. Navigate to SCIM Settings in the ShareCal Admin Portal.
2. Copy the SCIM URL provided in ShareCal Admin Portal.
3. Copy the SCIM Secret Token, which will be used to authenticate Okta.

5. Configure SCIM in Okta

1. Sign in to Okta Admin Console.

2. Navigate to Applications > Applications.

3. Select your application that has SAML SSO configured.

4. Go to the Provisioning tab and click Configure API Integration.

   

5. Check the box Enable API Integration.
